The Virginia and Tennessee Railroad is a non-operating railroad that runs from Glade Spring, Virginia to Saltville, Virginia, approximately 9.2 miles.  Rail service was discontinued in 1984 (under the ownership of the Norfolk Southern) and will be continued as soon as a subsidence problem is corrected.  At the present time, the railroad is working with US Gypsum to find a solution to the problem.

When restored, rail service will be provided to businesses on line with several industrial sites available.
